To perform many ISBT / CGA / EIGA specified tests on bev-grade liquid CO2, ALI offers the GAS-5TM Sulfinert passivated Gas Analyzer System. The GAS-5TM is as a rugged, single or multi-channel instrument. It accepts either a CO2 line or cylinder sample. Various test equipment such as detector tubes (DT), THC, total sulfur analyzers, Zahm CO2 purity testers, ISBT sensory test equipment, moisture or aromatic analyzers can be used with a GAS-5TM. Both bench and rack-mount1 versions are available. With a GAS-5TM System, many ISBT CO2 tests can be rapidly performed by non-technical personnel after minimal training. It is designed for:

Test Methods, Supplies & Support

The GAS-5TM System includes a Test Methods Manual that contains simple pictorial instructions ("in-color"). GAS-5TM Methods include: acetaldehyde /light aldehydes, benzene /aromatic hydrocarbon content, THC2, Total Sulfur2, hydrogen sulfide, carbonyl sulfide2, sulfur dioxide, total mercaptans, carbon monoxide, oxides of nitrogen, nitrogen dioxide, nitrogen monoxide, ammonia, hydrogen cyanide, vinyl chloride, phosphine, water vapor, methanol, ethanol / light alcohols, CO2 Purity, Odor/Taste/Appearance and CO2 ID /Purity. ALI stocks all GAS-5TM spare parts and is a discount supplier of Gastec, Draeger, Kitagawa and Sensidyne detector tubes. We act as a one-stop-shop for you by also providing repair /calibration services, experienced technical support and Pepsi-Cola / Coca-Cola certified laboratory resources.

Easy Field Upgradability

-The GAS-5TM System is designed for easy field installation of additional measurement channels and test accessories including the SulfAlert I and THA-10.0 (THC) analyzers.

Basic Gas-5 System Components

GAS-5TM: Sulfinert passivated gas analyzer (single-channel bench mount configuration)3 + GAS-5TM Operations+ CO2 Test Methods Manuals (An extensive set of simple-to-perform standard tests).

Note 3:  Up to 3 additional measurement channels can be selected either at the time of your original purchase or purchased and field installed in the future). This allows you to perform 4 ISBT test simultaneously.

- MC-5: Add-on passivated Measurement Channel (bench mount model only – horizontal or vertical configuration).

-VM-120: (120VAC, 60 Hz, 100 watts) Sulfinert passivated, liquid CO2 vaporizer.

-SPC-1L: Sulfinert passivated, 1Liter CO2 sampling cylinder.

-ST-3, Sulfinert + PTFE passivated, 3' (1m), high pressure, flexible, ss-braided sampling tubing

-CS-25 1L cylinder support (for secure vertical mounting of a sample-filled 1L cylinder & vaporizer).

-ZCheck-5TM: Sulfinert passivated 5 psig [34 kPa] check valve assembly for interface with ISBT Method 2.0 CO2 purity test equipment (Z-49) + ISBT / CGA / EIGA type sensory test equipment (Sensory-15/16 Kit)

-GAS-5TM DT Start-Up Kit: Includes 1 box (each) of detector tubes for: acetaldehyde, benzene, ethanol, H2S, SO2, mercaptans, CO, NOx, NH3, PH3, HCN, water vapor, + 2 connector sleeves.

 --ZN-49: Zahm-Nagel CO2 Purity Tester for ISBT Method 2.0 type testing (99.00 - 99.99% range).

-Sensory-15/16 Kit: for performing ISBT Method 15.0 + 16.0 type sensory tests.
