 ALI can provide on-site sampling services, rent you passivated 1L sampling cylinders (+ support hardware) or rent you our special NON-HAZMAT “No-Haz” LCO₂ Sampling Kit. For our international or domestic customers that are not hazmat-certified to ship LCO₂ samples, our No-Haz LCO₂ Sampling Kit is highly recommended. This sampling kit which comes complete with pictorial sampling & shipping instructions allows you to take a a small amount of low pressure, vaporized LCO₂ sample and properly ship it to us as non-dangerous goods.

 The kit consists of 3 types of sample containers: 4, 1L “True Blue” Polybags, 1, 75 or 150 cc “Minicyl” and 1, 2L ss “NVR” container. Together these small containers allow us to properly perform the wide range of specialized analytical tests needed to ensure LCO₂ quality conformance to ISBT, CGA and other purity specifications. For example, the MiniCyl allows us to accurately determine trace amounts of oxygen that may be present. The NVR container allows us to test for Non-Volatile Residues (NVR) such as dirt, wear metal, carbon bed fines and Non-Volatile Organic Residues (NVOR) such as oil, grease and semi-volatile impurities such as glycols. Polybags are used to measure a wide variety of volatile impurities and to conduct sensory tests on your CO₂ sample.

For customers that desire to use our No-Haz CO₂ Sampling Kits - and do not have passivated vaporizer / pressure regulator equipment or passivated hardware for obtaining a powdery dry-ice (CO₂ snow) sample for NVR/NVOR testing - we offer our VPR-120 series of passivated vaporizer-regulator products and our SnowMaker 1.3 Kit.
