Vaporized Liquid CO₂ & Feedgas Sampling

 In order to properly perform many ISBT tests requiring a vaporized liquid CO₂ sample or for use in feedgas sampling, ALI offers the MiniCyl-1.0 Kit. This kit includes a 150 cc Sulfinert passivated sampling cylinder and 25 psig check valve. This hardware assembly allows operators to use a simple "purge-and-fill" method for vaporized LCO₂ or feedgas sampling. A major advantage of a MiniCyl-1.0 Kit, is that because of the minimalgas volume contained and the lowstorage pressure (approx. 25 psig, [172 kPa]),your CO₂ samples can be properly and economically shipped by DOT/IATA regulations as a non-hazardous industrial sample of "no-commercial value".

Every MiniCyl-1.0 Kit™ includes a set of simple, concise pictorial instructions, a cylinder storage bag and a sturdy shipping box. An "Analysis Request" form is also included for customer convenience.  ALI is also a manufacturer and worldwide distributor of all recommended sampling hardware and safety equipment for ISBT Sampling Method 1.0.

Components

 -MiniCyl: A 150 cc, all Sulfinert passivated, DOT-3E 1800 rated cylinder with acombination 1800 psig [12,400 kPa] pressure relief / needle valve (inlet) + 1/4" NPTM -to-1/4" tube fitting + lanyard cap (inlet) + needle valve (outlet) + 1/4" NPTM-to-1/8" compression tube fitting (outlet) + plastic storage bag + double-wall shipping box.

-Check-25: A Sulfinert passivated, 25 psig [172 kPa] check valve / F-Branch Tee (1/4" NPTF / 1/4" compression) assembly.

-MINST: Pictorial MiniCyl sampling instructions for vaporized liquid CO2 or feedgas + analysis request form.

Recommended Accessory Equipment

-PDISK 1800:  1800 psig burst dist kit

-ST-1: Sulfnert + PTFE passivated, 1' [30 cm] high-pressure rated, flexible ss sampling tubing with 1/4" compression (F/F) fittings.

-VPR-120-60-S: Sulfinert passivated CO₂ vaporizer/pressure regulator (0-60 psig delivery model with ¼’ compression outlet port) in the “straight” configuration. These units are equipped with 1/4" compression inlet/outlet fittings, an inlet needle valve for vaporization control + pressure relief devices for over-pressure safety.

-CRYGL-14: The safe sampling of liquid CO₂ requires several types of safety equipment including gloves designed for handling cryogenic materials. ALI recommends these 14" long gloves for all ISBT liquid CO₂ sampling.

-SAFE-T-SHIELD: This ergonomic face shield is recommended for all ISBT liquid CO₂ sampling.
