Our staff includes experienced Ph.D. chemists who are recognized experts in their fields. We take pride in our abilities to understand the needs of our international clients, to clearly explain test results, answer questions,and recommend cost-effective, rapid solutions to their problems.
Dr. Don Pachuta (President) has over 25 years of professional experience. Dr. Pachuta has held professorships, R&D and technical management positions at Kean University, Montclair State University, Royal Dutch Shell (Synthetic Aviation - Industrial Lubricants Division) and commercial analytical testing laboratories.
The leadership team of our analytical staff includes Asya Norkin, Lab Mgr. who has over 15 years of commercial and industrial experience in testing high purity gases (including bev-grade CO2/N2), fuels and aerospace lubricants. Joe Angeloni, Sr. R&D Chemist has over 12 years of commercial lab experience in testing gases (including beverage-grade CO2/N2), environmental samples, fuels and petrochemicals. Charles Schwartz, (MS in Metallurgy) President of Labtech, Inc. (an affiliate company) has gas industry experience (BOC) and is an industry-recognized expert in metallurgy with over 35 years of experience in materials testing and failure analysis.
Our technical products department is managed by Bob Mazur (BA, Educ.) who has over 25 years of experience in the fields of accounting, project management, international shipping and industrial logistics. Denise Pachuta (B.A. Biology) heads our operations department and has multidisciplinary experience including pharmaceutical product analysis.
The professional societies that our staff have associated with include: The International Society of Beverage Technologists (ISBT), Compressed Gas Association (CGA), Semiconductor Equipment and Material Institute (SEMI), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Society of Aerospace Engineers (SAE), The American Society of Testing Materials (ASTM) and The American Chemical Society (ACS).
Dr. Pachuta currently serves as chairman of the Carbon Dioxide Methods Sub-Committee of ISBT and has recently participated in an expert ISBT panel discussion of CO2 issues related to the beverage industry. Our company has developed many of the methods adapted by ISBT for CO2 quality assurance and was selected to evaluate new USP / NF gas standards and to recommend advanced/improved medical-grade gas purity tests and purity specifications.
