Sulfinert™Passivated Pressure Relief Assembly

& Passivated, High Pressure Flex Tubing (ST-1, ST-3, ST-5)

 To properly perform ISBT sampling methods for liquid CO₂,ALI offers the SPRA-1800 1800-psig [12,400 kPa] relief valve assembly & passivated, high pressure, flexible sampling tubing. The SPRA-1800 inlet port* connects directly to a liquid CO₂ source-sampling valve. The outlet port is typically connected upstream of sample tubing and connecting hardware such as sample cylinders, snowmaking apparatus, LCO₂ vaporizers and/or polymeric sampling bags. If, during sampling operations, liquid CO₂ is improperly entrapped within this transfer hardware, the 1800 psig [12,400 kPa] burst disk will safely relieve any excessively high pressures caused by liquid CO₂ expansion/vaporization. A SPRA-1800 is completely Sulfinert passivated to prevent wall-absorption of sensory-active impurities such as sulfur compounds.

 *A SPRA-1800 is equipped with a Sulfinert passivated 1/4" compression tube inlet (see attached picture) for direct connection to a liquid CO₂ source-sampling valve. Other Sulfinert passivated port connectors are available for other source valve conventions.

 Components

-SPRA-1800: Sulfinert passivated 1800 psig [12,400 kPa] relief valve assembly with a 1/4" compression port fitting (F) (for liquid CO₂ source valve connection) + 1/4" compression (M) outlet fitting (for transfer tubing connection).

 -ST-1 / ST-3 / ST-5: Sulfinert & PTFE passivated 1, 3 or 5 ft flexible, high pressure transfer tubing with 1/4” compression end fittings & ss overbraid.

 Recommended Accessories

 -PDISK-1800: A 1800 psig [12,400 kPa] burst disk replacement kit.

-CRYGL-14: The safe sampling of liquid CO₂ requires several types of safety equipment including cryogenic safety gloves. ALI recommends these 14” long gloves for ISBT liquid CO₂ sampling.

-SAFE-T-SHIELD: This ergonomic face shield is recommended for ISBT sampling.
