HARPC ISBT Beverage Grade Program

Hazard Analysis and Risk Based Preventative Controls Program (HARPC). This sampling and analysis program is specifically designed to meet the testing requirement aspects of “The Food Safety and Modernization Act” (FSMA) which is managed by the FDA.  A periodic HARPC sampling and analysis program will be required for all CO2 storage or distribution facilities who specifically sell their CO2 to customers that in turn use this CO2 in food & beverage products (ex. restaurant fountain drink production, beer keg pressurization, craft beer manufacturing, personal, carbonated beverage-making devices, etc). This CO2 must meet the  International  Society of Beverage Technologist (ISBT) beverage-grade purity requirements as it is considered a food ingredient in all of these applications.
